What Your Watch Says About How Sexy You Are
Posted by writer in watch models on April 24th, 2009
Choosing a watch is not an easy thing to do, especially if you’re particular about how these mens watches and womens watches look and how they would give you a strong first impression to the people you meet. Basically, all watches serve one main purpose: timekeeping. Despite having a singular purpose, watches come in so many different designs and styles. Choosing the right watch for you has a lot to do with finding watches with the right features and functions, all wrapped up in a design that will make you feel confident and sexy. Here are some of the different watch models and how they can make you look and feel sexy:
The chronograph watch
Watch models with the chronograph feature often look sophisticated, with a touch of sportiness. Chronograph watches have stopwatch timer features that are usually designed with three smaller dials within the main dial of the timepiece. Usually, mens watches and womens watches with the chronograph feature also have a rotating bezel with an instrument, like a time-marker or a tachometer. You can choose a rubber band, leather strap or a metal bracelet and your chronograph will still look stunning. With the extra dials and smart features that are added to chronograph watches, it is no wonder why these watch models have a sophisticated sexiness to them.
Two examples of chronograph watch models:
Men’s: Swiss Army Chrono Classic
Women’s: Oceanus Ladies Atomic Solar Chronograph
The aviator and dive watches
If you are looking to have a smart and sporty look, you may want to go for an aviator or dive watch. Both aviator and dive watch models have rugged and durable designs with extra features used for the respective purposes. Aviator watch models, for example, have features similar to a flight computer, multiple timer dials, or the ability to display multiple time zones. Dive watch models are made to be water-resistant and some have chronograph and alarm features for keeping track of time while under water. While aviator and diver watches have sporty features, they come in a wide variety of styles, including luxurious watches made by top-notch watch manufacturing companies. If you want to have a smart and sporty look, you should look into getting an aviator watch or a dive watch.
Example of an aviator watch for men: Torgoen T2 Flight Computer Chronograph
Example of a diver watch for women: Swiss Military Hanowa ‘Sealander’
The simple watch
Watch models that are simple in design but look elegant are great for looking good every day. Generally, simple and elegant watches are those that aren’t packed with features, like aviation or chronometer watches are. Because these watch models don’t have as many features, they tend to look cleaner and sleeker. Simple watch models have the bare-essential features, which include the movement, time display and, sometimes, a date indicator. To top off your simple and elegant look, try matching your classy watch with a leather strap. Looking sexy and chic is easy with the help of a simple watch.

Although luxury watches can be expensive, they give off a vibe of opulence and extravagance like no other types of watch models. Aside from offering some of the highest-quality watch features, luxury watches usually have an extravagant design that exudes appeal. Some watch models include design features like diamond-encrusted bezels, specially-crafted faces and dials, highly-precise movements, or high-grade materials. No matter what type of luxury watch you get, it’s sure to make your entire outfit and overall style look more expensive and more lavish.

Some of the features of rugged watch models include luminous hands and markers, water resistance, weather resistance, and special power technologies. For example, the brand Citizen has an Eco-Drive technology that stores energy received from the sun, to power your watch practically forever. One of the best mountain bike riders, Italian Ivan Basso, lends his name to a line of Skagen watches: the Red and Yellow Signature Editions.

Young Hollywood stars are just like other teenagers and young adults. They want something hip and fashionable, not something their grandma would wear. That is why Swatch is not really a surprising choice by young celebrities though the brand is definitely affordable. The Swatch Full-Blooded is a little more sophisticated than the plastic models.

2. Johnny Depp – Seiko Quartz Men’s Watch
It is not surprising that Johnny Depp would wear a Seiko. Depp has always been recognized for being unconventional. He dresses up the way he feels like, not caring for what the fans and the fashion critics expect. Seiko is one of the world’s well-known watch brands. It has stood the test of time while maintaining an affordable image.
1. Angelina Jolie – Tissot T Touch
Though it is actually Angie’s character in Mr. & Mrs. Smith who wore the Tissot T Touch, the fact that the watch model was worn by Miss Jolie in a movie for the second time says a lot. Angelina wore the same brand of watch for Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life.
Sometimes it is the brand itself that makes sure it is known by many that it has been worn by a celebrity. You cannot blame Tissot T Touch for aligning itself with the gorgeous Angelina Jolie.

Betty Boop is an important character in animation history, because she’s the first character to be a full representation of a sexual woman. She wears high heels, short dresses, and a garter belt. There are also many episodes when her cleavage is displayed for all to see. Betty always looks so stylish, so she certainly deserves a watch that’s just as stylish as she is. As one of the fashionable womens watches we have today, the Citizen Silhouette ladies’ watch with its mother of pearl face and the crystal-encrusted bracelet will surely look great with Betty’s dresses.

Among the three Powerpuff Girls, Bubbles is the one that exudes sweetness and has a bubbly and cute personality. She’s gentle, playful, and innocent, and may also have a tendency to be ditzy, naive, sensitive, and submissive. Her signature color is blue, and she has a soft spot for animals. If Bubbles were to have a watch, I think she’d be very happy to have the Flik Flak ‘Fior di Farfalla’, which has a blue strap that features butterflies and flowers.
